Privacy policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
This policy explains what information CertificateJoy collects through certificatejoy.com and how that information is used. It covers the current marketing site only. It will be replaced with a more detailed policy once CertificateJoy launches an account-based product that stores certificate or recipient data.
Information we collect
We keep data collection on this site to what is necessary to run and improve it:
- Analytics. We use Simple Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect or store IP addresses. It records aggregate page views, referrers, and anonymized browser/device information.
- Early access form. If you request early access or contact us through our form, that form is hosted by Tally. Information you submit (such as your name, email address, and any message) is stored by Tally and shared with the CertificateJoy team to respond to your request. Review Tally's privacy practices for details on how they handle form data.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We don't have a user account system on this site today, so there is no certificate or recipient data stored by CertificateJoy yet.
Third-party services
This site loads scripts and forms from the following third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Simple Analytics (site analytics)
- Tally (early access / contact form)
- Google Fonts (webfont delivery)
Changes to this policy
As CertificateJoy's product develops, this policy will be updated to reflect any new data we collect, particularly once certificate issuance and recipient verification features go live. We'll update the "last updated" date above when that happens.
